Heat & AC
Cold or warm? The 3 rules
- Every unit on Heat ☀️ (the sun icon). Summer: every unit on Cool ❄️.
- Don't use Auto or SMART. They don't work on this system.
- Point the remote at each unit and listen for the beep. No beep = press again.
Step by step
The units in your house share one outdoor system. They only heat (or cool) when every unit is on the same mode.
- Find all three remotes: one each for the living room, bedroom and bunk room units.
- Press MODE until you see the small sun ☀️ at the top of the screen. That's Heat. The snowflake ❄️ is Cool. MODE goes round in this order: Auto → Cool → Dry → Fan → Heat.
- Don't use SMART or Auto. They don't work on these systems.
- Stand in front of each unit, point the remote straight at it, press, and listen for the beep. No beep means the unit didn't get the message, even if the remote screen says Heat. Press again.
- Do this for EVERY unit, every room. One unit left on Cool or Auto stops all the others.
- Set the temperature a few degrees above the room temperature with TEMP ▲.
- Give it a few minutes. Warm air takes a little while to start, and the room takes 10 to 15 minutes to warm up.
- Summer: same steps, but choose the snowflake ❄️ (Cool) on every unit.
- Still cold? Send us a message with a photo of each remote's screen. We can check the system from our side, and we'll only come in with your OK.
